Located in the context of Downtown Dubai, this café was designed as a flexible social space capable of welcoming a diverse audience — from colleagues meeting for work and groups of friends gathering, to tourists, students, or visitors stopping by for a quick coffee.
The LayoutThe layout was developed to support multiple seating scenarios while maintaining a natural and intuitive flow through the space. Four existing structural columns were carefully integrated into the design so that they no longer divide the interior into rigid zones. Instead, they frame the central composition — a radial sofa surrounding a tree — creating an “oasis” at the heart of the café. These columns act as spatial markers that gently guide movement and help shape an organic circulation path throughout the interior.
